Reference checks carried out on each tenant
Choice Lettings use the services of Homelet to carry out referencing on each Prospective Tenant and they will be asked to complete a Verify Homelet Reference Form giving us consent to use personal information to conduct a residency check in accordance with the Immigration Act 2014 (non-refundable fee applies).
Each Prospective Tenant will also be asked to complete an Individual Homelet Reference Form to check for any adverse credit history, undisclosed credit history linked to current and most recent homes, undisclosed previous names and addresses, banking details, checks against Homelet’s own default database, conduct a financial Sanctions check, check against up to three credit agencies, speak to previous Landlord or Managing Agent, speak to current employer for all tenants.
Homelet's affordability guide states that a minimum total / joint gross annual income is equal to 30 x the monthly rental amount is required. Please see affordability guide.
