Reference checks carried out on each Prospective Tenant

Choice Lettings use the services of Homelet to carry out Right to Rent Checks and Referencing.

Each Prospective Tenant will be asked to complete a Homelet Verify and Reference Application Form and produce original photographic identification, including passport and visa (if applicable).  The information and documents will be uploaded to the Homelet System  and the results, together with a copy of the documentation is stored securely.

Referencing consists of a bank detail check, Tenant default database check, adverse credit history check, bankruptcy check, CCJs and court decrees check, undisclosed address and name check, full employment reference including income information, future employment reference if required and current Landlord or Managing Agent reference.

Homelet's affordability guide states that a minimum total / joint gross annual income is equal to 30 x the monthly rental amount is required. Please see affordability guide.
